RRB Technician Vacancy 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a substantial increase in the number of technician vacancies, bringing good news to job seekers across the country. Originally, in March of last year, RRB had advertised 9,144 technician vacancies in various railway zones. However, this number has now been significantly increased to 14,298 vacancies across 40 different categories in various railway zones nationwide. RRB Technician Selection Process:

• The selection of candidates for the technician posts will be based on the following stages:
  1. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
  2. Document Verification
  3. Medical Examination

RRB Technician Salary Details:

• Technician Grade-I Signal: Rs 29,200 per month
• Technician Grade-III: Rs 19,900 per month (starting salary)

RRB Technician Exam Syllabus Pattern:

• Exam Dates: The written examinations are scheduled to be conducted in October/November 2024.
• Exam Structure:
• Technician Grade-I Signal Question Paper:
  • General Awareness: 10 questions, 10 marks
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 15 questions, 15 marks
  • Basics of Computers and Applications: 20 questions, 20 marks
  • Mathematics: 20 questions, 20 marks
  • Basic Science and Engineering: 35 questions, 35 marks
  • Total: 100 marks, Duration: 90 minutes
• Technician Grade-III Question Paper:
• Mathematics: 25 questions, 25 marks
• General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions, 25 marks
• General Science: 40 questions, 40 marks
• General Awareness: 10 questions, 10 marks
• Total: 100 marks, Duration: 90 minutes
• There is 1/3 negative mark for each wrong answer.
