Age limits for DSSSB Assistant Teacher Primary Post

Candidates applying for the post of
DSSSB Assistant Teacher Primary must not exceed the upper age of 30 years. Category-wise
relaxation of age is applicable as per the rules. 5 years of relaxation in

Pay Scale

DSSB Assistant Teacher Primary will be
appointed on a proposed salary of Rs 35,400/- per
month. Beside Basic pay, other allowances are also applicable and will be

Selection Process for DSSSB Assistant Teacher Primary Post

be assessed on the basis of Written Exam based on prescribed syllabus.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Written Exam will consist of 200
Objective type questions comprising of two sections of equal weight age. Each
question carry one mark and each wrong answer deduct 0.25 marks from the total
score. Medium of question paper will be English & Hindi. Time allotted for
the exam is 2 hours.

follows:

Section-A:

(i) General
Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the
candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its
application to society.

(ii) General Intelligence
& Reasoning Ability:  Test may include questions on
analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis,
judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation,
relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure
classification, arithmetical number series etc.

(iii) Arithmetical &
Numerical Ability : This section will cover questions on
Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio
& Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple
& Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance,
Tables & Graphs etc.

(iv) Hindi Language &
Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension: Candidates
will be assessed on the basis of lingual Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence
Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc.

SECTION B:

Subject related questions: This
section will comprise of Objective Type Questions concerned with the subject in
the last qualifying degree as mentioned in the application.
