Age limits for HPSSSB Dental Hygienist Mechanic Jobs:
Candidates must not exceed the upper age of 45 years and lower age limit is set to be 18 years as on 01-01-2024. For reserved category candidates & Ex-serviceman of Himachal Pradesh, upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable.
Educational Qualifications for HPSSSB Dental Hygienist Mechanic Posts:
For Dental Hygienist:-
- Should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as main subjects from a recognized Board
- Should possess 02 years Diploma of Dental Hygienist from a Medical Institution duly recognized by the Dental Council of India.
- Must be registered under State Registration Council as Dental Hygienist.
For Dental Mechanic:-
- Should have passed 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized Board.
- Should possess 02 years certificate course of Dental Mechanic .
- Must be registered as Dental Mechanic.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs. 5,910/- to 20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2800/- for both Dental Hygienist & Dental Mechanic.
Selection Process for HPSSSB Dental Hygienist Mechanic Post
Candidates who have successfully registered for the HPSSSB HP Dental Health Services will be subjected to a Written Exam following which a provisional merit list will be prepared. Selected candidates will then have to appear for the Interview so as to verify documents.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The Written Screening test will consist of 170 Objective type questions ,each question accounts for of ½ marks making 85 marks in total.Duration of exam is 2 hours.
Objective type screening test will comprise following topics:
General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Logic, Social Science, Everyday Science,General English & General Hindi of 10th standard.
Application fee
Application fee for General candidates is Rs 360/- to be paid via online mode.
For Reserved category candidates, application fee is Rs 120/-
