Educational Qualifications for HPSSSB Stenographer, Steno Typist Jobs
Candidate before registering online for HPSSSB HP Stenographer Jobs must stand eligible as per the required essential qualifications:
i)Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a Board recognized by the HP Govt.
ii) Should possess the efficient speed in Shorthand and Type writing in both the
language i.e. English & Hindi at the entry level recruitment.
Pay Scale
Candidates selected will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs.5,910/- to 20,200/- + Grade pay of Rs 2800/-
Selection Process for HPSSSB Stenographer, Steno Typist Post
Candidates who have successfully applied for the HPSSSB HP Stenographer post will have to undergo a Screening Test following which a provisional merit list will be prepared. Short-listed candidates will be subjected to the Stenography Test and Typing test on computer. Final merit will be obtained by the compilation of both the scores.

- Stenography Test (70 WPM in Hindi & 80 WPM in English) /Typing Test on Computer (30 WPM in Hindi & 40 WPM in English)
