MP CPCT Exam Notification 2024: Madhya Pradesh Agency for Promotion of Information Technology opened online registrations for the Computer Proficiency Certificate Test scheduled for 4th & 5th August 2024. Aspirants seeking positions in various Government departments where practical knowledge of computers and typing skill plays the major role should appear in CPCT to get the score card applicable for data entry/IT Operator/Assistant Grade-3/steno/shorthand/typist or other similar Jobs. Candidates interested provided they meet the basic qualifications can register online before the due date i.e. 17th July 2024. This Computer Based Exam consists of General standard Objective type Assessment and Typing test. Age limits for MP CPCT Exam Notification 2024
Candidates applying must have the age minimum age of 18 years as reckoned on 17-07-2024. Upper age limit is not applicable.
Educational Qualifications for MP CPCT
Minimum educational qualification to appear for MP CPCT is 12th passed from a recognized Board or 10th passed + Polytechnic degree from a University/Institution duly recognized by AICTE or any equivalent.

CPCT Score Card:
Minimum Pass percentage of CPCT is 50%.
For Objective type Assessment 38 marks stands the minimum
Typing test:
English Typing-30 WPM (Words per minute)
Hindi Typing- 20 WPM.
Validity Period of CPCT Score Card:
CPCT score card is valid up to 2 years from the date of appearance. After it’s expiration following candidate have to appear again for CPCT Exam. In order to improve score candidate can appear as many times as he/she wish to.
Application Fee for MP CPCT Exam Notification 2024
Application fee for CPCT Exam is Rs 660/- payable via online mode or through Kiosks centres.
MP CPCT Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
CPCT Test comprises of two sections:
Section 1-Online Objective type Assessment -75 Marks
Section 2- English Typing Test (15 Marks) and Hindi Typing test (15 Marks)
Time allotted for the exam is 2 hours distributed as 75 minutes for Section 1 , 15minutes each for English and Hindi Typing Test and 15 minutes extra.
MP CPCT Exam Pattern:
I) Objective type Assessment will consists of 75 questions bifurcated equally in six sections carrying one mark each. Brief syllabus as follows
1.Familiarity with computer systems
2.Knowledge of Basic Computer Operations
3.Proficiency in general IT skills
4.Reading Comprehension
5.Mathematical & Reasoning Aptitude
6.General Awareness

II)Typing test content will be a passage with possible keystrokes.
Madhya Pradesh Computer Proficiency Certification Test Admit Card/Hall Ticket:
Admit Card/Hall Ticket to appear for CPCT Exam will be release on the official website by 30th July 2024. Candidates must download their respective Admit cards as soon as it displays so as to avoid last minute rush. Applicants are advised to carry Admit Card along with Adhaar Card to the Examination Centre.
