SSC CGL 2024: Staff
Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC CGL Exam throughout India, which
contains 4 stages. CGL SSC 2024 Tier 1 is a computer based Exam which will
be held from 01-08-2024 to 20th August, 2024 at designated testing centers
across India.
Candidates who will get pass marks in this CGL SSC 2024 Tier 1
Exam, will be allowed to attend for CGL SSC Tier

2 Exam which will be
conducted through Online mode in November, 2024. CGL SSC 2024
Tier 3 is a descriptive Exam which will be conducted on Jan-2024 and CGL
SSC 2024 Tier 4 Exam will be in Feb 2024. SSC CGL 2024 Exam
will be held for candidates to the Recruitment of 9000 Jobs in Intelligence
Bureau, Central Vigilance Commission, Ministry of Railway, Controller
General of Account, Ministry of External Affairs, CBI, NIA,
Central Secretariat Service etc. Aspirants have to score in individual
stage of CGL SSC 2024 exam. CGL SSC 2024 result will be
declared after adding score in CGL SSC 2024 Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3. Exam
Mode of Tier 1, Tier 2 Exams is Online and for Tier 3 is Offline. Closing
date for Availability of SSC CGL 2024 Online Application forms is 31st
Oct, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGLE
2024:

Educational Qualification for candidates must be
graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university with
good academic records to apply for CGL Exam.

Exam Pattern for CGL SSC 2024 Tier
1:

1. General Awareness– Total questions are 25 for 50
marks. There is Negative Marking of 1/2 for each wrong answer.

2. General Intelligence & Reasoning – Total questions
are 25 for 50 marks. There is Negative Marking of 1/2 for each
wrong answer.

3. English Comprehension – Total questions are 25 for 50 marks. There is
Negative Marking of 1/2 for each wrong answer.

4. Quantitative Aptitude – Total questions are 25 for 50 marks. There is
Negative Marking of 1/2 for each wrong answer.

Exam Pattern for SSC CGL 2024 Tier
2 Exam:

1. Paper I –
Quantitative Ability (Total questions are 100 for 200 marks. There is
Negative Marking of 1/2 for each wrong answer).

2. Paper II –
Language & Comprehension (Total questions are 200 for 200 marks. There
is Negative Marking of 1/2 for each wrong answer).

3. Paper III- Statistics
(Total questions are 100 for 100 marks. There is Negative Marking of 1/2
for each wrong answer).

4. Paper IV – Finance
& Accounts and Economics & Governance (Total questions are 100 for
100 marks. There is Negative Marking of 1/2 for each wrong answer).

Preparation Tips:

Practice past years General Knowledge papers, For
English read one word substitution, idioms, phrases. Candidates have to
concentrate on four key points of Aptitude, General Awareness, Reasoning
Ability and English Grammar. In General Awareness questions will be like
polity, General Science, Geography, Current Affairs, Computers etc.
