Age limits for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Jobs in Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2024:
The age limit for the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Jobs is in between 18 – 27 years as on 01-08-2024. The upper age limit relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST category candidates is 5 years, for OBC is 3 years, for PH candidates is 10 years, for PH + OBC candidates is 13 years, and for PH + SC/ST candidates is 15 years.
Educational Qualifications for SSC Stenographer posts Recruitment:
The educational qualification for the Stenographer posts is candidates should have done 12th/any Degree.

Selection Process for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Posts Recruitment in SSC:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the Computer-based examination (CBE) and Skill Test/Typing Test.
CBE: CBE will be comprising of objective type multiple choice questions of 200 marks with time duration is 120 minutes.
Skill Test/ Typing Test: the typing speed of 100 wpm for the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 wpm for Stenographer grade ‘D’.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus for SSC Stenographer Jobs:
Computer-based examination pattern will be of Objective Multiple choice type questions in Hindi and English except part III. The total marks will be of 200 marks and duration is 2 hours. There will be negative marks for each wrong answer will be 0.25 marks.
Based on subject wise the number of questions and marks for the Exam will be given below.
General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 questions – 50 marks
General Awareness – 50 questions – 50 marks
English Language and Comprehension – 100 questions – 100 marks
