Required Qualifications for UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024:

Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Arts/Engineering from any Indian recognized University.

Age Limits for UPSC Civil Services IPS, IFS, IAS Jobs Recruitment 2024:

Candidate should have age limit between 21 years to 32 years as on 01-08-2024 (must have born in between 02-08-1986 and 01-08-1996).

Age relaxation will be given up to 05 years to SC/ST candidates and up to 3 years to OBC Candidates.

Application Fee for UPSC Civil Services Prelims Examination 2024:

Candidate must deposit application fee of Rs. 100/- through online

using Debit/Credit card/ Net banking before 24- March- 2024.

For offline mode candidates should deposit in bank/ generate the
SBI chalana before 16-March-2024.

For Female/ SC/ ST/PH candidates are exempted from the payment of
application fee.

UPSC Civil Services Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

UPSC Civil Services Jobs Recruitment selection will be held based on following stages.

1. Prelims Examination (Objective Type)

2. Mains Examination

3. Personality Test, Medical Test and Physical Test.

UPSC IAS, IPS, IFS Prelims Examination pattern and Syllabus 2024:

UPSC Preliminary Examination consists of two papers.

Paper I: 200 marks- 2hrs.

Paper II: 200 marks- 2 hrs.

Paper 1 Prelims Examination Syllabus:

– Current events of national and international importance

-Indian Polity and Governance‐ Political System, Constitution, Public Policy, Panchayati Raj, Rights Issues, etc.

-Economic & Social Development‐ Sustainable Development, Inclusion, Demographics, Poverty, Social Sector Initiatives etc.

– Indian and World Geography‐ Physical, Social, Economic Geography

– History of India and Indian National Movement

-General issues on Environmental ecology, Climate Change, Bio‐diversity

-General Science.

Paper 2 Prelims Examination Syllabus:

– General mental ability

– Decision making and problem solving

-Comprehension

– Logical reasoning and analytical ability

-Interpersonal skills, communication skills;

– Data interpretation, Basic numeracy (Class X level-numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.)

-(Graphs, charts, tables, data sufficiency etc. ‐ Class X level)
